According to London Drugs (LD) policy "Multiple coupons can be used on a single item as long as it comes from different sources" aka coupon stacking. When they say different sources, that means different UPC codes. Some stacking can get quiet complicated if you know how to read the coupons.
I'll go through a couple examples. Feel free to post comments for further explanation. I learned how to stack by reading the smart canucks site, and by asking customer service reps at LD. It's always good to check if you are unsure. The last thing you want to do is go to the cashier, be denied, and do the walk of shame back to put all the stuff back on the shelf.
Here is a simple stack:
Kraft Sizzling salads Dressing
Retail Price:$4.99
-save.ca coupon $1.00 off
-tear-pad last month $1.00 off
-tear-pad this month $0.75 off
-tear-pad this month $0.75 off
=$1.49 plus tax
A little more complicated but useful for all mommies out there.
Coupon stack for diapers and wipes:
Pampers Diapers $15.99
Pampers Wipes $4.99=$20.98
-Brandsaver online $1.00 off wipes
-Brandsaver insert. $1.00 off wipes
-Brandsaver online $4.00 off wipes and diapers
-Brandsaver insert. $4.00 off wipes and diapers
-Brandsaver insert. $2.00 off diapers
=$8.98 plus tax after coupons
If you have pamper coupons from Gyno, or call for them you can get them even cheaper.
Febreeze WUB(when u buy)
3 x 2.99 = $8.97
-Brandsaver online $2.00 off WUB 2
-Brandsaver insert. $4.00 off WUB 3
-Brandsaver insert. $2.00 off WUB 2
=$0.97 plus tax = 0.34 cents EACH!!
If you see the price cheaper somewhere else you can also price match at london drugs with stacking and get these items closer to FREE.
What is a "Brandsaver insert"?
ReplyDeleteMy question is where to get these coupons. Please inform! =)
Brandsaver Insert is the P&G flyer found in the newspaper either local paper or Vancouver Sun. The current ones expire May 31st, so be on the look out for the new ones June 4th.
